Xiaomi , Vivo , other to use Qualcomm 5G Modem  with first devices coming in 2019.

Hello friends here I am with my new post. In this post I have describe about  5G smartphone.

Highlights :-

1) smartphones with 5G  expected from several OWMs in 2019.

2) Trial with network operator will begin  later this year.

3) Speed demonstration will be announced at this year's MWC .

More than 12 Global Smartphones and PC OEMs have tied up with Qualcomm to incorporate with Snapdragon X50 5G NR Modem on to their mobile devices. Qualcomm has said the first smartphone featuring with 5G will reach the market in 2019 with Chinese brand , Vivo promising such handset next year.


OEMs joining hands with Qualcomm to incorporate the 5G models in their upcoming smartphones are show Xiaomi ,Nokia, Sony, HTC, LG and Oppo.

Other names that have partnered with Qualcomm are fujitsu , Inseego/Novatel Wireless , Netgear , Sharp , Sierra Wireless , Telit and WNC.

OEMs will be built around the sub-6GHz and millimetre wave (mm wave) spectrum bands starting next year.
