Redmi 5 launch date in India expected to be in 14 February as Xiaomi sends Media invites
Highlights:-
1)We all know that Redmi 5is successor to the Xiaomi Redmi 4.
2)We can expect phones to start at around ₹8000 to ₹9000.
3)The phones was sold in China in 5 to 4 colour variants.
Key specification of redmi 5 Plus and redmi 5:-
Redmi 5.5 plus both will come with dual sim (Nano smartphones) both will run on MI UI 9 system with the latest version of Android redmi 5 ports of 5.7 inch HD + ( 720 × 1440) pixel display while, redmi 5 plus comes with 5.99 inch full HD + (1080 × 2160 )mm 160 pixels. Both will have expected screen ratio of display 18:9. The former is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC coupled with 2 GB / 3 GB / 4 GB of RAM and 16GB / 32GB inbuilt storage redmi 5 plus is powered by a Snapdragon 625 SoC with 3GB / 4GB of RAM and 32GB / / 64GB of inbuilt storage.
In terms of camera both have :-
12 megapixels back camera and 5 megapixels front camera with a soft selfie flash. There is a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.
In terms of sensors both have :-
(I)Ambiedient light sensor
(II)Proximity sensor
(III)Gyroscope sensor
(IV)Accelerometer sensor
In terms of battery both have :-
(I)Redmi 5 will come with 3300 mAh battery.
(II)Redmi 5 plus will come with 4000 mAh battery.
Connectivity options of both are 4G VoLTE , Wi-Fi , Bluetooth 4.2 , GPS , A 3.5 mm headphone jack , and Micro USB.
